Dr. Mark Bachman, D.D.S

Dr. Bachman was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated with honors from Washburn High School. He majored in biology and graduated magna cum laude from Kalamazoo College in Michigan where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Dr. Bachman returned to the Twin Cities to complete his dental education and training at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Bachman graduated from dental school in 2000, number three in his class of 79 students, and was inducted into the honor societies of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Kappa Phi. He also was awarded the Raymond J. Gill Award for Outstanding Achievement in Preclinical Fixed Prosthodontics.

Bonnie Wachter Swenby, D.D.S.

Dr. Swenby grew up in Minneapolis, and graduated with honors from Washburn High School. She attended Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a major degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Psychology.

She raised three sons, one of whom is Dr. Bachman! After many years as a volunteer teacher of gifted and talented students in the Minneapolis Public Schools and as instructor and president of the Childbirth Education Association of Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul, she returned to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she graduated in 1990 as a member of the honor societies Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Kappa Phi. She received the Minnesota Periodontists Association award for excellence in Periodontal Treatment. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. Dr. Swenby enjoys travel, music, and bicycling in addition to her dental practice.
